The Youth Connection

Education & Career Counseling (COMING SOON)

Education and Career Counseling is available for youth ages 17 to 24 years of age. These services are individualized services that are designed to determine education and/or trade goals as well as career goals which may include interest, current skills, as well as skills that may need to be developed. These services may include assessment, testing, and counseling, mentoring, individualized learning plans, and job/internship search assistance.

Foster Care Outreach

HOPE for Kentucky strives to assist local foster care agencies provide basic needs to children who find themselves in out-of-home care. Many children in foster care are unable to take many items of their own from their home of origin. Therefore, we seek to provide those needs including back-to-school supplies, clothing, games, suitcases, and toys to foster care agencies and youth who are in need of these items. Your donations, large or small, can change a child’s life in the largest way. Whether you are donating money or supplies, your donation is greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible.

Literacy (COMING SOON)

HOPE for Kentucky strives to work with local organizations who work with youth and families to increase and/or encourage literacy. We work with these organizations to provide the educational and/or financial supports to assist the agency in meeting their goals. These literacy programs are open programs for all youth and families and focus on the enjoyment of reading but also assist with phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.

Scholarships and Internships (COMING SOON)

Educational scholarships can be of great assistance to students starting their post-secondary education. H.O.P.E. for Kentucky strives to assist youth with not only educational scholarships but connecting youth and young adults with agencies and organizations that would like to award scholarships to students pursuing their post-secondary education.
